Joost Goudsmit
Joost has worked at NMC-Nijsse International since 2005. He has great expertise and experience in banking, asset management, insurance and venture capital/private equity. Joost studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and has held various commercial and financial positions within the business and financial services sectors.
In 1997, Joost made the move to the executive search business and was a consultant in the financial services practice of another renowned international executive search firm until 2005.

Alain Kok
Alain has worked at NMC-Nijsse International since 2007. Having started at an American telecommunications company in 1999, Alain transitioned to entrepreneur at an organization which brings business partners together in 2003. Following high school, Alain studied law and economics at the University of Utrecht.
Alain focuses on High Potentials in Sales, Marketing and Finance.
Berry Nijsse
Berry was one of the founders of NMC-Nijsse International in 1983. Following his studies at the College of Applied Sciences in Enschede, Berry spent over eleven years in South America where he recruited for commercial and general management positions in a large Dutch trading organization in chemicals and raw materials. After gaining experience in most countries of the continent, Berry was appointed General Manager in Venezuela, with overall responsibility for several other countries in Latin America.
Berry focuses on Strategic, International and General
Management as well as Board Services.
Bert Pilon
Bert joined NMC-Nijsse International in June 2011. He previously held several positions on senior management and board member level within the corporate and public sector (e.g. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Province of Zuid-Holland). Bert studied law and received a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the ICT sector and the public domain. He made the switch to executive search by joining a reputable Dutch search firm in 2008.
Bert focuses on ICT, Not-for-Profit and the public sector.
Honoré Verbeet
Honoré has been linked to NMC-Nijsse International since 1992. He studied economic and social history at the University of Utrecht, after which he joined one of the world’s largest recruitment firms, for which he was commercially and operationally responsible for the Amsterdam region. He subsequently switched over to the executive search industry. After beginning as Search Associate at a leading international consultancy, Honoré was successively appointed Head of the Search Department and Senior Consultant.
Honoré focuses on Retail, Media, Not-for-Profit and Government.

Arjen de Jong
Arjen is a specialist in the automotive industry. After his studies at IVA Driebergen, he held commercial and general management positions at several international automobile firms, acted as chairman of the RAI automotive association and was Managing Director for over 10 years of BMW The Netherlands. He has experience in wholesale and retail markets, working with entrepreneurs and internationals. In 2011 he joined NMC-Nijsse International as Associate Partner.
Arjen focuses on Automotive as well as entrepreneurs and internationals in wholesale and retail.
