Method

Assessment

NMC-Nijsse International’s process starts with the identification and analysis of hard, rational criteria (concerning both the client company and job opening), including:

  • Positioning and distinctive features of the company
  • Strategy of the company
  • Utilized systems, resources and business processes
  • Experience criteria, level of education and conditions of employment
  • Formal responsibilities within existing organizational structure, job description.

and soft, emotional criteria, including:

  • Culture, norms and values, management style
  • Informal responsibilities and expectations
  • Image of the company in the labor market.

Interviews with key staff within the sphere of the vacancy are part of the assessment process.

Job Profile

After research and analysis, NMC-Nijsse International drafts a job profile, which lists all the features and requirements of the position concerned. Following the approval of the client, the search process begins.

Search and Sourcing

NMC-Nijsse International simultaneously utilizes several search tools and then contacts potential candidates from a carefully-constructed database, in which the personal- and career information from (potential) top executives are included.

Potential Candidates

After the systematic search and source process, two consultants independently interview the selected potential candidates, performing an assessment if required.

Presentation

Approximately six-to-eight weeks after approval of the job description, NMC-Nijsse International presents the client with at least two candidates on the basis of the profile of the vacancy, with detailed explanations of personality characteristics. NMC-Nijsse International coordinates the introductory meetings between client and candidate.

Review

Six months after the appointment of the candidate, an independent review is conducted with both the client and candidate.

International Projects

International recruitment projects are handled by the account management based in the country from which the client request is issued, and the executive search process takes place locally. If desired or necessary, candidates can be traced through multi-country searches.
